Gerald Barry Fillmore-García is a, Los Angeles based, Spanish-British actor, writer and filmmaker known in Spain for movies such as "The Footballest" by Miguel Ángel Lamata, "Unfortunate Stories" by, Goya Award Winning director,  Javier Fesser and "What Lucía Saw" by, Goya Award Winning director, Imanol Uribe, and hit TV series like HBO's "Poor Devil", Movistar Plus “Muertos SL” and "Reyes de la Noche", the prime-time sitcom "Gym Tony", where he was one of the stars and a writer for five seasons, or Amazon Prime series "Little Coincidences" where he acted and wrote with Javier Veiga. Its American version was recently produced by NBC.

 

Sony Pictures has recently premiered the movie "Tequila Repasado" cowritten by Gerald and, Emmy Award winner, Judd Pillot and SkyShowtime will soon premiere his movie as writer/director/actor “Love in Your Face”.  Gerald has also written for Televisa, Mediaset, Atresmedia or in Facebook Watch, the EOP Comedy Show produced by John Leguizamo's NGL. 

"Hold For Applause", "For Pete's Sake" and “Back To The Closet” his three latest short-films as writer, director, actor and producer have won over 70 international Awards and have been selected in a more than 200 film festivals around the world.

 

On stage: he has worked with many companies, with the Spanish National Theatre and with his theater company The Sinflow in Madrid's Gran Via. In 2022 he was awarded at Los Angeles' Brisk International Theater Festival. Best Play, Best Writer and Best Director.
